Nice place for brunch! All the fixings and all very tasty. I heard that the dinner buffet is awesome. Very reasonably priced too!

Holy smokes ITALIAN BEEF FOR THE WIN!!! Awesome. Shakes are good too! Meatball sub was delicious, coleslaw was a little plain but my good heavens that Italian beef... wowzer!

First time there celebrating 3 birthdays friend of our days there frequently lives in the area. Had prime rib it was the best I've had in a long time. Staff very nice would definitely return there!

Love the management team and all of the workers are very kind and courteous. I was there to pick up an order and i was a bit early. The manager offered me a cup of coffee and made me feel at home. Cant stress enough how nice these guys are 5 out of 5 for sure :)

Haven't been here in a while. Decor has been updated, looks nice. We arrived at 6:30 & luckily friends made us a reservation because it was already packed. It took our waitress over 10 minutes to take our drink order and at least 10 if not 15 minutes to return with them. We were smart and were ready to place our order then. Food came out quicker than I would have thought. Husband ordered Strip Steak medium well, it arrived medium but flavor was good. Other items were okay and came out as ordered. Waitress checked on us once. Our booklet didn't have dessert menu but we were able to locate one. Overall, an okay experience, and I thought a little pricey.

Love the brunch on weekends very affordable food is good and service is always good.

I had two different experiences at this location. The first time the food was great, service was fantastic. The second time the food that was served was quite different, fettuccine instead of spaghetti, the bread was hard , a burger came out under cooked when "no pink" was specifically asked for. When retuned they just tried to heat up the burger and serve it again ( it had been cut in half) still under cooked in a portion, just swapped out the bun. However the bar drinks were very good. Unfortunately I will not be returning to this location. 50/50 I'd say

Celebrated our Anniversary at Johnny's Chophouse with a fabulous prime rib dinner. Service was great too. I'd return again with family and friends.

The owner dropped off a new menu at my work yesterday and we picked up lunch today! It was so good and priced perfect! Yay! Thank you

I had the prime rib. It was perfectly cooked nice and tender. My girlfriend had the creamy chicken alfrado it was grate and we both had the french onion soup it was better than any where else we have been in Illinois and Wisconsin.

My wife and I dined here for the first time for valentines dinner, and had an outstanding experience. The lobster and fillet were cooked to perfection and the staff was beyond pleasant. We will be going back again soon.

My boys and I stopped in for the breakfast buffet and it was delicious! The price was super reasonable ($29 plus tip for one adult and 2 kids). We all left full and happy. Rhonda was also a great server, we loved how she interacted with the boys and had them laughing and smiling. Perfect family place for breakfast

Place was exquisite. Very nice, upscale, waiters dressed in black chef uniforms, minus the hat.lol...food was fantastic, staff was amazing. Only thing I have to say needs improvement. Well I ordered lamb chops and my date ordered a steak. I got a baked potato with my chops. Heres the downside. No butter in a dish. Was forced to unwrap little tiny packs of butter that came with the bread during our appetizer. You go through all that trouble to have everything perfect, and then they don't even present you with butter. Other than that, everything was spot.on. highly recommended. Butter cost you a 4 star review instead of 5. Oh and the google menu is 3 years old and completely wrong!

Had a fantastic experience in this place with my son. The food came quickly and the customer service is just awesome. Prices are convenient.

One of the beat restaurants I’ve had the pleasure of dining at. Our server Jessica was amazing to say the least. Very quick service, food was amazing, and very clean establishment. Would highly recommend anyone in the area to check this place out. You won’t be sorry.

Went for breakfast buffet, really good food and really nice staff

The Shrimp Cocktail was very good. The steak first came cooked close to Well. I asked for Medium Rare. It was sent back and came back closer to rare, but I rather have it under cooked than over cooked. It was a decent quality meat. It was lacking on the flavor slightly but I didnt need to add any salt. The bread pudding was listed as famous, but I thought it was just ok. I think this is a leave I may return to but I'll be more careful on what I order.

Good food. Good service. Fair prices - can't beat the half price burgers at the bar Tuesday special.

Filet mignon was amazing. Also got the crab legs pricey but good. Got the bread pudding with this amazing sauce on it. I could just pour the sauce down it was sooo good!!!!

I want to Thank Johnnys Chophouse for a wonderful dining experience. 8 of us. Tim the server was outstanding. I had scallops and they were perfect! Some had the lamb chops and they said they are great!.Lovin this place!

Very delicious the gyro was amazing, the burgers are also very delicious. You should also try the shakes and malts if you get a chance. The service was very fast. The staff answering the phone was very nice. I highly recommend to come here

The drink service from the bar was slow getting to the table, but once the appetizers came out, the rest of the food came to the table in a timely manner. Everyone's steak was cooked to order, but the Ribeye had a bit of unexpected extra fat. My son enjoyed his BBQ Bacon Cheeseburger and stated, "That was a good burger." Overall, it was a nice place to eat dinner with the family.

The 1st time I had JOHNNY’S SNACK SHOP it was great, the service over the phone was awesome and so friendly. But I just referred Johnny’s snack shop to a friend and it was a disappointment. The food was good but the service sucked and one of the burgers was ordered with no bun and no silverware was served with it. It was not as friendly this time around. I feel silly I talked so good about it. And then was let down.

I had one of the best meals. The prime rib was excellent. Very friendly waitstaff. We had a large group and everything was just wonderful. A very enjoyable evening.

Gone here for both breakfast and dinner and both have been fantastic! The food is always incredible and the staff has been very attentive and personable! Definitely recommend going if you're looking for a friendly place with some great food!

First time dining there and was extremely disappointed. The food was nothing special (and salty) and pricey for what you get. If you want soup or salad, you have to pay more. Mary, the hostess, was under stress and just plain rude. I complained and she apologized, but also tried to justify her rudeness by blaming me, which made it worse. The only good part of our visit was our waitress Carol. She was polite, efficient, attentive, friendly, and a joy to talk to. We won't be back.

Great food and excellent customer satisfaction! The time it took from calling in the order to prep the food was very quick and perfect for my lunch time during work. I will be recommending this restaurant to my friends and family. Can’t wait to order from here again it was fantastic!

The meal was very tasty. A bit more in price than we anticipated but still no regrets. It was not way overpriced and it was delicious.

One of our favorite steak houses in the area. The feel is very local and friendly. We had to wait for about 20 minutes to be seated, but it was Friday night and the place was full for dinner. The spinach puffs were a delicious was to start the meal. I had the mushroom swiss burger with fries and really enjoyed it! My daughter had the Asian salad with the tuna fully cooked and said it was delicious!

We love the food. We order every couple of weeks and they remember us and if I forget what part of the order is, they remind me what I usually get.

It is THE tourist attraction of Antioch, IL, if not for downtown. Actually, forget downtown--if you want a filling, hearty meal on a budget, even with a high-class meal like a prime rib or filet mignon, Johnny's Chophouse will NEVER disappoint!
